peq 2|Is there a decent AN/PEQ,dednude

bit of a random question. has anyone seen the AN/PEQ-2As with dark green txt and a black background for the laser danger/warning stickers? i saw one but thought they only came in white txt and red laser images. different models?

The AN/PEQ-2 is an infrared laser (visible only with Night Vision optics) and infrared illuminator. At night, you ideally want to have your NV head-mounted so that you can see wherever you are looking. This makes using iron sights and standard optics difficult or impossible, though, so instead, troops use the laser to aim with.
